The Warehouse at Midtown

Greenville has a new experience location on Laurens Rd called The Warehouse at Midtown. It's advertised as a Taphouse, Food Hall, and Music Venue.

The space itself, it really neat. When you walk in the front door everything is wide open. It is a little overwhelming at first trying to figure out where to go, but once you've had a moment to take it in, it's pretty self explanatory.

The beer options are vast. I didn't count how many taps they had, but I would guess somewhere around 30, if not more.

To the right when you walk in is a stage where they have live Jazz bands play.

When you walk to the back, immediately in front of you are their 3 food options. Each have their own registers, but you are able to order from all 3 at one register without having to get in multiple lines, which is really nice.

To the left, is a nice bar with 2 TVs, which would make a great watch party location, but they are fairly small. I'm not sure they care since being a sports bar is probably not what they're going for anyway.

My wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak, and the steak was some of the best she's had. The homemade chips were the star of the show though. I stole a few of them, and they could possibly be the best I've had in a very long time.

I went with the custom blend smash burger with bacon and cheese, and fries on the side. The fries were really good, and a little addictive.

My burger was good, but it was pretty dry. I don't know if that's normal for smash burgers, as I really don't eat them that often. The char/sear was amazing. I loved the crunchy bite. The inside was just dry. I didn't get a picture once I got into it (didn't think about it at the time)

Overall, the venue is really cool, the beers were cold, and the food was good. I give it a 3 Spurs Up. This location just opened, so they have some kinks to work out, but we'll definitely be going back.
